“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 NIV
It is truly a comfort to hold on to this promise:
Amid troubles all around, Jesus already said, “I have overcome the world for you.”
If you are at a point in life where you feel defeated because of bad news and what’s happening around you, don’t worry! While it is true that God did not promise us a smooth-sailing life, but through Him, we can overcome! No matter how hard life can get, put your trust in the Lord who holds control over everything. In Jesus’ death and resurrection, victory has been won!
This message of hope is what we aimed to share to our kababayans when we aired our Tanikala Holy Week Specials last April 1 and 2, 2021 on GMA. This year’s line-up of made-for-TV specials, Isa Pang Hiling and Habang May Ngayon, showcased the stories of Jarolyn and Vincent Moulder, and Carla Manas and their stories of hope and healing. They went through a lot as COVID-19 survivors, but God showed Himself loving and faithful in the end.
Thank you for helping us produce these telecines. Because of your faithful giving, we are able to reach more lives and proclaim God’s message of restoration and hope in our LORD Jesus Christ.
