In time for the 5th year of Super Typhoon Yolanda’s commemoration and the 3rd Anniversary of Operation Blessing’s Community of Hope in Palanog, Tacloban City, Impact Generation Consultancy Team (IGen) is initiating a campaign that will medley the generosity of the Filipino Spirit – the PinoyItForward Movement.
The Community of Hope-Busai Valley is Operation Blessing’s first permanent shelter project under the Disaster Response and Infrastructure Programs for the survivors of the Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013. As of today, 97 families are now occupying the houses.
Through the social media, IGen will move people to action by inviting them to simply give up one thing that has cost and donating the equivalent amount for the sustainable development of the Community of Hope-Busai.
Anyone who wants to join the PinoyItForward Movement can do these easy steps:
- Give up one thing that has cost – a cup of coffee, a cab ride, or your favorite meal at a restaurant.
- Go to pinoyitforward.com and donate the equivalent amount through the payment gateways of Operation Blessing.
- Post a photo or video on your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Youtube account about the PinoyItForward Movement and tag your friends to join the cause.
The PinoyItForward Movement believes that each person can make a difference and be the change. All it takes is just a small sacrifice in exchange for a huge cause.
One sacrifice, one Filipino spirit – PinoyItForward!
