At just fifteen years old, Zekiya Calvario had a burden to bear—a relentless toothache that had plagued her for a month due to stubborn tooth decay. For weeks, she endured excruciating pain, relying solely on antibiotics.

But hope, as the saying goes, always remains.

Zekiya heard about Operation Blessing’s Mobile Clinic, which also offers free dental services. Without delay, she embraced this opportunity to access the care she needed.

“It was very timely for me because the expense of tooth extraction is a significant burden for my family. With our limited income, it’s a challenge I chose to bear,” narrates senior high school student Zekiya.

With each step towards the Mobile Clinic, Zekiya felt excited, knowing that this visit could answer her prayers to relieve her toothache without any fee. She also looked forward to having them removed because she had become conscious about her appearance, especially since it was the crown area of her teeth that was affected by the decay.

After a successful procedure, Zekiya left the clinic with a sense of relief.

“Thank you very much, Operation Blessing. Now I no longer need to endure the pain. I can finally sleep better at night,” she said.

Zekiya is now looking forward to saving up for dentures, eager to regain her smile and confidence.

In addition to dental services, Zekiya also received medicines and vitamins in the pharmacy area of the clinic. She was also counseled by the local church partner who prayed for and ministered to her.
