In response to the needs of the families harshly affected by Typhoon Pablo (international name: Bopha), Operation Blessing deployed relief teams to the provinces of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental.
As of December 10, the mats and blankets we distributed gave warmth to 1,228 families in Compostela Valley and 48 families in Davao Oriental. The hot meals we prepared relieved 1,000 people in Compostela Valley from hunger. Trauma counselling activities which gave comfort to 162 children in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley were also conducted. Our team was also able to medically assist one child who was suffering from high fever.
