Operation Blessing (OB) in partnership with Cherry Mobile conducted a circumcision mission in Barangay Bayan Luma 9, Imus, Cavite. The activity catered to 106 young boys not only from the mission site but also from the adjacent barangays.
Barangay Captain Roberto Villanueva Samonte stated that he is grateful for the privilege and services that were extended to them, and he is hoping that it is not the last.
“All barangay captains in Bayan Luma work hand in hand whenever we have this kind of project. Everything is properly coordinated. We are giving you back our service because this is a great opportunity for the young boys in our community,” he added.
On the other hand, Angela Uy Puti, Cherry Mobile’s coordinator for medical missions, assured OB that there will be more projects to be executed together, and the partnership will grow even bigger and better.
“In behalf of Cherry Mobile, we want to thank OB for the manpower. You are a big help in the conduct of this project,” she exclaimed.
Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines partners with the government and different non-government organizations to bring aid to our fellowmen who need medical, dental, and surgical assistance. Most of the time, the projects are conducted in far-flung communities that are rarely reached because of geographical location and proximity.
This summer, OB already conducted two separate circumcision missions in some parts of Luzon alone. On May 15, OB will hold another one in Batangas, again in partnership with Cherry Mobile.
